Yes you can share a membership. We advise you to only split full shares. The full share gives the best chance of making an equitable division. The shares are divided by the customer not Shallowbrooke Farm. We only interact with the customer whose name is on the enrollment.
What do I do about my vacation?
With so many members we are unable to keep track of everyone’s vacation time. Have a friend/neighbor/family member pick up for you. Often these shares will last until you return if stored properly. Shares can be put on hold via your account login but will not be creditied
Can I choose which veggies are in the box?
No, we offer a variety of fresh produce in season. Every box is packed with the same selection of produce, according to what is being harvested that week. There may be some differences in shares as we don’t always have enough product to make each box identical.
Do we still need to wash the vegetables we receive in our box?
Yes, although most of the product has been washed and sorted it is still a good idea to wash at home. Some of the root crops may need extra rinsing.
Is Shallowbrooke Farm organic?
The quick answer is no, Shallowbrooke Farm is not certified organic. With this being said we do make every effort to keep spray material to a minimum. It is possible that depending on time of year certain crops will not see anything added other than clean water.
